THST AGM 2026

The Nominations period for election to the THST Board has now closed and emails will shortly go out to the membership as of the date of the formal Convening Notice (5 December 2025) with instructions on how to vote.

Voting will be electronic, by proxy or in person as in previous years.  For those able to attend, we will have an informal section of the meeting for the general discussion on the “State of Spurs” at the moment. We will send a link to book tickets to attend the voting, along with the voting instructions.

Further information can be found on our website.

Fan Advisory Board

The Fan Advisory Board (FAB) met on 8 December 2025. You can read the minutes here. This was the first meeting attended by Non-Executive Chairman Peter Charrington and recently-appointed Chief Communications Officer Kate Miller.

The Club gave a strategic update. Peter reiterated the Lewis family’s commitment to the Club and the quest for consistent success, re-stating the owners’ ambition for “more wins, more often. The Club recognised that much work is required to get it to the necessary level. The scale of the task is reflected in the Club’s comment that this will take “multiple transfer windows”, whilst also stressing the need to be “winning games of football in the meantime”, something the current squad has been unable to achieve consistently.

The Club leadership acknowledged THST’s Five Principles, which consistently show low scores in all areas and illustrate the extent of the improvement needed. It was positive to hear Peter emphasise that “the Club exists for its fans” and the importance of rebuilding trust with supporters. We also welcome the stated desire to broaden the demographic to include a younger fan base, which chimes with the Trust’s Fill Our Home, Find Our Voice campaign, on which the Club has stated it agrees with the initiative’s principle.

The Club committed again to engaging with the fanbase. We asked the Club to hold a further Q&A session for fans after the January transfer window, recognising that the situation is very different from when the Fan Forum was held in October. The Club is considering having a digital Q&A for fans.

We were delighted, through the FAB, to have played a part in the Heung-Min Son mural, which was unveiled on 9 December, attended by THST representative Rachel Martin, and it was terrific to see Sonny on the pitch before that evening’s game against Slavia Praha. Discussions are underway about possible statues of legends around the stadium.

Other issues were discussed, including Governance and Leadership, Premier League Financial Rules, Independent Regulator, Online Abuse and Conduct, Heritage and supporter initiatives. You can read the details in the minutes. Ticketing Strategy update and Atmosphere are discussed below.

Ticketing Strategy Update

Ticket share

We are pleased that the Club has accepted our arguments on Ticket Share and has announced that Season Ticket holders will now be permitted to share their ticket with up to three non-members each season (in addition to members). This follows the presentation to the Club of a detailed paper from THST, endorsed by the FAB, backed by case studies from many supporters. Thank you to all of you who shared your stories – it was key to getting this over the line. The eventual outcome followed detailed discussions between the Club, THST and the FAB. We’ve made it clear that three non-members is on a trial basis for the remainder of this season and is to be reviewed to see whether that can and should be increased for the next complete season.

Stop Exploiting Loyalty

THST and the FAB support the Football Supporters’ Association Stop Exploiting Loyalty campaign, which, among other things, calls for a two-year freeze on ticket prices. Our discussions with the Club on ticket pricing for next year are due to commence, and we have stressed that there must be a price freeze. Indeed, measures are needed to improve attendance at the stadium, with recent games going to Guest Sale, including the upcoming fixtures against Manchester City and Newcastle United. This shows that pricing is too high and that more must be done to attract fans – this is supported by Fill Our Home, Find Our Voice campaign. The Club agreed that engagement and opportunities for younger generations of supporters are vital and said it is exploring offerings for juniors and young adults. It was welcome that the Club accepted THST’s representations and extended to young adults the availability of concessions for the Aston Villa FA Cup game.

The Club raised its desire to introduce balloting for One Hotspur Members seeking to buy tickets for home Premier League games, to replace the current queuing system. FAB and THST opposed the proposal and highlighted the many drawbacks and disadvantages for fans. Moreover, the proposal is seeking to address a perceived problem that doesn’t exist: games are not selling out. It is utterly absurd when Premier League home games are going to be sold to guests. We will continue to oppose this unnecessary move to introduce balloting. There are far more critical and pressing ticketing issues to address.

 Atmosphere

THST is represented on the FAB’s Atmosphere Working Group. We are pleased that the Club has agreed an initiative for the FA Cup game against Aston Villa where fans can relocate to the Lower Section of the South Stand to create a block of like-minded fans to give a bank of vocal support to the team. Early indications are positive and we hope that it will help generate a fantastic atmosphere for that game. However, we now see that the game has gone to guest sale, which implies that the stadium will be less than full. We know that Villa are bringing their full allocation so we welcome all efforts to create the atmosphere we need to help the team win what is sure to be a very strong opposition.

Well done to Return Of The Shelf, THFC Flags, Spurs SongSheet and the FAB Atmosphere Working Group for all their work over many years on this important initiative.

Gold Cup Scheme

While we were very pleased that the Club, after much lobbying from us, decided to reinstate the auto purchase Gold Cup Scheme, it’s not all been plain sailing since then. One of the reasons they had given for removing it in the first place, was the number of times that payment collection failed and that supporters ended up not buying all the match tickets, while still getting the extra 10 loyalty points for being on the scheme. Club staff were spending a lot of time dealing with admin queries and they felt the answer was to remove the scheme (without consulting the Trust or the FAB).

We eventually persuaded the Club to reinstate it, but it was made clear that if a payment failed, the supporter would be removed from the scheme and lose the 10 loyalty points. In theory, this might sound acceptable, if a bit harsh: after all an email is sent out prior to each collection.

However, there have been a large number of fans contacting us to say that they have been removed from the scheme as a payment failed despite updating their cards on the website and having sufficient funds in their account.

It has transpired that there are two places on the website where card details are stored – one for general purchases (where you can store more than one card if you wish) and one for the auto purchase of cup tickets, where you have to nominate just one card.  Many supporters, in good faith, updated the one for general purchases but not the one for auto cup tickets.

We’ve been promised that if this was the case, you will now have been reinstated onto the scheme, but even this seems to be taking an inordinate amount of time and emails.  We’ve been chasing these up, of course, but our advice would be to those affected in this way, email the Club and copy us in. Give details of the payment that failed, demonstrate that you updated the card details (albeit in the wrong place) on a date before the collection date, and ask to be reinstated.

It makes no sense to take people who want to attend all games off the scheme.  The Club needs everyone possible to come to the stadium and support the team.  And in turn, supporters who want to be there through thick and thin deserve to be valued and rewarded accordingly.

The Ghost of White Hart Lane

The Ghost of White Hart Lane returns to the North London theatre Jacksons Lane by popular demand, for a two-week run from 19–31 January 2026. This run of the production features the voiceovers of comedy legend Paul Whitehouse and Alison O’Donnell, star of the BBC hit drama Shetland.

The Ghost of White Hart Lane is a one man play spanning the life of John White and his son Rob’s journey to discover the man he never met. Taking personal and career highlights to explore from John’s humble beginnings growing up in Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh, through to football fame and his tragic death. Sharing John’s cheeky sense of humour, the play mixes intimate and unique moments with the human experience of grief and loss, comparing parallel times in both men’s lives, almost 30 years apart. His career was cut short when in July 1964, John was struck by lightning and killed at 27 years old. John was posthumously inducted into the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2005.

The play has received rave reviews wherever it’s been shown. Tickets here.
