Board Members

The Board, elected by THST members, handles strategic management and must act in the Trust’s best interests.

The Board consists of 7 to 12 volunteer members who typically serve three-year terms. Board members carry diverse responsibilities and must commit to effective Trust management.

Here’s the current team:

Michael Green
Michael Green – Chair

Michael joined the Board in February 2016 and first started supporting Tottenham in 1976 (the relegation season!) but had to wait until 1987 to attend his first match, at home versus Sheffield Wednesday. He has been a season ticket holder since the 2000-2001 season, in the Paxton at WHL and now in the South Stand at THS. Alongside general Trust activities, Michael leads on finance and governance and is the author of the Trust’s regular analysis of Club finances. Michael is a senior risk manager at an international development bank.

Tristan Foot

Tristan Foot – Secretary

Tristan joined the Board in September 2023 and is a lifelong Spurs fan. His earliest memories are of being swept up by the magic of Gazza in the late 1980s and early 1990s. There have been many highs and lows since then. Now a father, Tristan and his son are season ticket holders in the North Stand. Tristan is also Secretary of Swindon Spurs, an Official Supporters Club for over 20 years, which runs coaches to every home game. Tristan is the University Secretary and General Counsel at a London university, responsible for corporate governance and legal matters.

Rachel Martin
Rachel Martin – Fan Advisory Board rep

Rachel joined the THST Board since February 2016 and has previously served as Co-Chair. She currently represents the Trust on the Club’s Fan Advisory Board. She has worked on Governance and the Government’s Fan Led Review, helping to formulate and present the Trust’s evidence and proposals for greater fan engagement. Her regular work for the Trust includes event organisation, catering provision and match day operations, including stewarding and safeguarding. She is a retired head teacher and has been a season ticket holder in the East and now West Stand since 2005.

Stephen Cavalier
Stephen Cavalier – Fan Advisory Board rep

Steve was elected to the Trust Board in February 2021 and has served as Secretary and as Co-Chair. He is currently one of the two Trust representatives on the Club’s Fan Advisory Board. He has been a regular at the Lane since the mid 80s and a season ticket holder since the mid 90s. Steve is retired and was head of the country’s largest workers’ rights and health & safety law firm. He has been involved in the Trust’s work on governance, safety, match scheduling, travel and transport and fair access for fans. He represents the Trust on the Haringey Safety Advisory Group and the Metropolitan Police Independent Advisory Group.

Mark Baulch - THST Board member

Mark Baulch

Mark was co-opted to the Board in March 2025 and is a former National Officer for the Communications Workers Union. He has been a season ticket holder for over twenty years and sits in the North stand middle tier. Mark has been attending Spurs games from the age of eight years old when taken by his father along with his two brothers. Like many fans supporting Spurs runs through the whole family.

Henry Ellis

Roy Beck

Roy was elected to the Board in February 2025. He is an unofficial club historian and has worked with the club in an official capacity researching our legacy numbers list which went out in October 2023. He is a long time fan, proud husband and father to two beautiful children. He was born in Enfield and has never lived more than seven miles from N17.
Henry Ellis

Andrew Bass

Andrew was co-opted to the THST Board in November 2024 and elected in January 2025. Despite witnessing a 3-2 home defeat to Ipswich in 1985, he was captivated by the WHL atmosphere, sparking a lifelong passion for Spurs. A West Stand season ticket holder, he fondly recalls the Ajax away game as his favourite performance and names David Ginola and Luka Modric among his top players, with a nod to Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Andrew is dedicated to strengthening the club’s connection with fans and ensuring the Trust continues to challenge negative corporate influences (ticket pricing, scheduling, atmosphere), firmly believing in Jock Stein’s sentiment that fans are football’s lifeblood.

A former British Army officer, Andrew now runs a management consulting business applying his leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills to support the Trust’s work.

Jo Gibbons

Jo Gibbons

Jo was elected to the Trust Board in February 2023. She has supported Spurs since the mid-70s and has been a season ticket holder in the East Stand for over 25 years. She has a background in PR and communications and has worked in most sectors, including at the top levels of government. She currently works freelance for several not-for-profit organisations and is a volunteer for Home-Start Haringey, Hackney and Waltham Forest.

James Glick
James Glick

James was elected to the Board in February 2024 after supporting the Trust across the previous 12 months by redeveloping the Trust website with Jo Gibbons. He has a background in digital marketing and advertising with over 15 years of experience, including holding C-level roles in two leading marketing agencies. James lives in Tottenham and has been a season ticket holder for the past 7 years, sitting in the south stand.

Neil Richardson

Neil was co-opted onto the Board in May 2025 and has been a Spurs fan since the early 1980s. He has been a season ticket holder since the mid 1990s, originally in the East Stand at White Hart Lane and now in the North West upper tier where he sits with his wife and their teenage boys. Neil works in a financial reporting role for an investment management company and has taken on the Treasurer role for the Trust.
