Understanding the Ownership and Corporate Structure of Tottenham Hotspur
An overview of Tottenham Hotspur’s current ownership and corporate structure, based on the Club’s 2025 financial statements, three equity issues since 2022, and publicly available information on ENIC’s UK and offshore entities, updating earlier analysis to reflect recent changes in equity and subsidiary disclosures.

1. Ownership of Tottenham Hotspur LimitedENIC Sports Inc is the immediate controlling party of the Club.
The Club’s main holding company is Tottenham Hotspur Limited (THL), registered at Lilywhite House.
ENIC Sports Inc is the immediate controlling party of the Club.
Changes in Ownership 2022–2025
Between 2022 and 2025, Tottenham Hotspur Limited’s share capital expanded through three equity issues subscribed entirely by ENIC Sports Inc:
- June 2022 – £100 million issue for 16,156,540 shares, increasing ENIC’s holding to 86.6%.
- December 2024 – £35 million issue for 5,767,984 shares, raising ENIC’s stake to 86.9%.
- October 2025 – £100 million issue for 13,493,731 shares, taking ENIC’s total to 217,571,686 shares (87.6%).

Minority shareholders were not offered participation in these rounds. The 2022 issue also included warrants convertible into additional equity equal to 5% of the July 2022 share base, with a 1.5% annual ratchet applying from 2025 until 2032. If exercised, these warrants would lift ENIC’s effective ownership by roughly 1–2 percentage points, depending on timing and assuming no further equity increases.

2. ENIC Offshore Structure (Ultimate Ownership)
ENIC Sports Inc is wholly owned by ENIC International Ltd (Bahamas). ENIC International is owned by two family trusts:
- Joe Lewis Family Trust – approx. 70%
- Daniel Levy Family Trusts – approx. 30%
These trusts are the ultimate beneficial owners of Tottenham Hotspur.
Other ENIC offshore entities
- ENIC Sports & Development Holdings Ltd (Bahamas) – sits above ENIC International
- TH Property Ltd (Bahamas) – owns and leases Lilywhite House to THL
- ENIC Developments Ltd (presumed Bahamas) – presumed offshore holding entity for ENIC’s UK property subsidiaries
Financial information and the precise ownership structure for these offshore companies is not publicly available.
3. THL Subsidiaries
Tottenham Hotspur Limited (THL) is the parent company of the Club’s football and stadium operations. It manages merchandising, licensing and certain shared services across the group, which comprises the following subsidiaries:
Football operations
Tottenham Hotspur Football & Athletic Co Ltd (THFACL)
- Operates the men’s team
- Holds player registrations
- Receives TV money, prize money, sponsorships, gate receipts from cup competitions and covers stadium operating costs
Tottenham Hotspur Women Football Club Ltd (THWFCL)
- Operates the women’s team
- Holds player registrations
- Receives TV/prize money, sponsorships, ticketing receipts
Stadium and financing
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Ltd (THSL)
- Owns and operates the stadium
- Generates income from season tickets, hospitality, food & beverage, third party events
- Holds the majority of the Club’s debt
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Development Ltd (THSDL)
- Intermediate holding company for THSL
Training centre
Tottenham Hotspur Football Co Ltd (THFCL)
- Owns and operates the Hotspur Way training centre in Enfield
Commercial
Tottenham Hotspur Inc (USA)
- Delaware-registered but dormant
Legacy / dormant
Enfield Property Company Ltd – holds modest land assets at Chigwell and/or Enfield; receives rental income from the old Chigwell site.
