The dawn of a new season is upon us – a period where football fans are usually filled with excitement, optimism and dreams of what might be achieved.
However, for many loyal Spurs fans who have supported the Club through thick and thin for decades, those feelings have been replaced with a fear of wondering if they will ever set foot inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to see their beloved side again from next season.
The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust has urged the Club to reverse its disgraceful decision to issue no new senior concession season tickets from 2025. The Club also plans to reduce the discount awarded to supporters who hold senior concession season tickets.

This misguided policy impacts the most loyal, long-term supporters, many of whom are on low, fixed incomes. It also sets a dangerous precedent in terms of other groups currently receiving concession season tickets, namely young adults and children.
The Club receives the bulk of its income from television broadcasting rights and has recently been granted permission to use the stadium for 30 non-football events so there should be no need to penalise fans financially in this way.
THST has called on Spurs to:
- Reverse the removal of new senior concession season tickets
- Reverse the proposed decrease in concession to those who have hitherto received the senior concession season ticket
- Apply the concession rate to senior season tickets regardless of where they are located in the stadium
- Protect the concession rates on young adult and child season tickets.
We will continue to lobby the Government for the protection of concession season tickets to be included in the legislation for football governance and an independent football regulator.
We urge the Club to stop exploiting loyalty, to reinstate senior concession season tickets, and to cancel the proposed reduction in discount applied to current season ticket holders.
