Supporter Reaction on Senior Concessions: Jim Logan

The Trust is campaigning the Club to reverse recent ticket price increases and senior concession changes as part of our #StopExploitingLoyalty campaign that started in 2023 following the announcement of the increase in general match tickets. The Club’s decisions and policies regarding ticketing have the most significant impact on our most loyal supporters. There is no better way to understand this than to hear from those supporters themselves.

Jim Logan has been following the Spurs for 62 years, has had a season ticket since1982, and now has a senior concession.

“I stood on the terraces with my father from 1962 before I was able to purchase an enclosure season ticket in 1977. I was then able to purchase a seated season ticket in the new West Stand when it was opened in 1982. I have watched Spurs throughout many disappointing seasons and then during the years at Wembley when supporters accepted that a lack of new signings was the price we had to pay to help to finance our new stadium. If I had known when the stadium opened in 2019 that the senior concessions would soon be reduced, I would have chosen a seat with a better view of the pitch and in a different part of the stadium. After many years of support, I would have expected more consideration for myself and other elderly supporters.”

The Trust believes the Club is exploiting the loyalty of Fans like Tony. Only as a united fan base can we convince the Club to reverse its decision. If you’d like to contribute to this campaign, send us your reaction to the recent announcements via info@thstofficial.com.
