Following the news that Joe Lewis has been indicted with alleged insider trading charges, THST has contacted the Club to seek reassurances for supporters.
The Club repeated the statement it had earlier released to the press, saying: “This is a US legal matter unconnected with the Club and as such we have no comment.”
Mr Lewis ceased being “a person with significant control of Tottenham Hotspur” last year when the Club said there had been a “reorganisation of the Lewis Family Trusts”.
