March 2026 Trust Newsletter; Club Financials Released, FAB Meeting Minutes and Quiz Night.

All Together, Always

Seven matches remain. The arithmetic is stark, the stakes unmistakable. This is no longer a conversation about style or long-term trajectory; it is a question of survival. And in such moments, the role of a club’s support becomes not peripheral, but essential.

Alongside other fan groups, we will do everything in our power to support the team and the coaching staff. We cannot impact what happens on the pitch, but we can be the ‘12th man’. Representatives of fan groups came together ahead of the Forest game to get behind the team, including the reception by thousands of fans afforded to the team coach on arrival ahead of kick-off. Similar activities are planned ahead of the final three home games – further information will follow.

Analysis of Tottenham Hotspur Accounts 2025

Each March, Tottenham Hotspur publishes its annual financial statements, covering the previous July-to-June season. In response, the Trust produces its own independent analysis of these results, offering supporters a clearer view of the Club’s revenues, transfer activity, debt position and wider expenditure beyond football operations. This work is conducted without privileged access to non-public financial information. You can read this year’s analysis here.

Fan Advisory Board

The Club’s Fan Advisory Board met on 3 March 2026. You can read the minutes here.

Supporter representatives, including the two from THST, pressed the senior leadership on the current position, stressing real anxiety about possible relegation and seeking answers on why the Club was in that situation and what was being done to address it.

We emphasised the disconnection with the fan base, the lack of trust and confidence with the direction of the Club, the perception of unfulfilled promises, poor league position, performances and results. We stressed the urgency of the situation which the Club recognised, but the FAB expressed concern that supporters had not yet seen sufficient evidence of short-term urgency.

The minutes attracted a certain amount of press interest. Most of the media commentary focused on the section “Review of Recent Performance and Structural Issues” in which Chief Executive Vinai Venkatesham articulated the areas where the Club is falling short of what is required to compete at the highest level, including insufficient focus across the organisation on on-pitch success, lack of specialist expertise in certain areas, the wage structure and transfer approach, a squad which needs strengthening, financial pressures and a growing disconnect with the fan base. You can read some of the media coverage here:

Vinai presented the measures that the Club is taking to tackle these issues and also shared the Club’s strategic priorities. The FAB emphasised the urgency of the current situation, expressed concerns about the January transfer window and the speed of decision making, the need for individuals with strong connections to Tottenham’s identity and traditions and stressed the importance of conveying a sense of unity and collective fighting spirit.

Finances were discussed, including what contingency planning had been undertaken for a worst-case scenario, including implications for ticket pricing and planned communications to supporters during the season ticket renewal period. We are pleased that the Club acted on representations by THST and the FAB and extended the renewal period for season tickets until 7 June, two weeks after the final game of the season.

Other issues discussed included Organisational Changes and Rebuild; Governance, Leadership and Culture; Commercial Partnerships and Brand Values; Club Finances and Financial Fair Play; Heritage and Identity; Supporter Engagement and Next Steps.

Quiz Night

We are delighted to announce that the annual THST Quiz Night will be held on Thursday 14th May, from 7pm at The Antwerp Arms, Tottenham. The event will be compered by long time friend of the Trust, and Spurs Show and Life Goals podcast host, Theo Delaney. We are all busy researching some fun, but tricky, Spurs related questions to challenge you with. Put the date in your diary and buy your tickets here. Tickets cost £10 and you can come as a team or individually, in which case we will join you up with others.

The event will raise money for local mental health charity Studio 306 Collective. There will also be a raffle with the chance to win Spurs related prizes. If any THST members have any Spurs related items that they would like to donate to the raffle we would be delighted to accept your donation to support a fantastic cause.

Let’s see who this years’ winners will be – the Spurs Staff team once more or one of our Spurs supporter challengers. Either way, it’s sure to be another great night – we can’t wait to see you there.
